Prepare to be inspired October 1st!

Join Friends for a special afternoon with Amy Gulick

Amy is a widely acclaimed writer and photographer, whose award-winning books include The Salmon Way: An Alaska State of Mind, and Salmon in the Trees: Life in Alaska’s Tongass Rain Forest.

Through her storytelling, engaging experiences, and stunning images, Amy will be asking us to think about connections—our relationship with salmon, the islands, the Salish Sea, and protecting what you love. Brent Lyles, Friends’ Executive Director, will underscore why our deep connections and critical work are inextricably linked to protecting a place where we are inspired in life, work, and play.

Saturday, October 1st
12:30 to 3 pm
at Odd Fellows Hall on Orcas Island
or virtually from the comfort of home!

In-person registration includes our specially selected local wine and foods. Virtual registration will provide details to purchase local wine and food via pick up or delivery.

You won’t want to miss this!

We live in such a pivotal time. Future generations are depending on us to protect and restore what will be their environment. We support the Friends because they tackle the issues that really make a big difference in our local environment, while also squeezing maximum value out of every dollar in their budget.
