Thank You from your Friends at Friends! Download a Beautiful Zoom or Desktop Background

Thank you so much for supporting Friends of the San Juans in 2020. To show our appreciation, we have created backgrounds for your Zoom sessions or computer desktop taken by our very own Marine Science Coordinator, Jess Newley. Enjoy these amazing underwater photos of Pacific herring and Coho salmon! And look out for more images like this from Jess as we launch our new Virtual Reality Immersive Education Program this winter and spring.

The work we accomplish with your support ensures that the San Juan Islands and the Salish Sea are protected and restored for generations to come – thank you again for being part of our community.

We wish you health and happiness in 2021!

Friends has done so much to identify those critical beaches where the forage fish are spawning and that is work that I value greatly. Once we know the spawning locations, we can permanently protect those very important beaches.
