Interactive Tool: Over-Water Oil Transfers

In 2023 alone, Class 1 facilities (excluding pipelines) conducted 2,589 over-water oil transfer operations totaling 4,469,806,696 gallons. The interactive report tool below includes the transfers to and from vessels at these facilities and does not include oil transfer operations via pipeline, rail, or truck.

We believe that our property is more valuable if we and our neighbors protect the shoreline. Orcas need salmon. Salmon need forage fish. Salmon and forage fish need the protection of eelgrass and kelp. Eelgrass and kelp need clean water. Shoreline protections are good for ecosystems and for the long-term economy of these lovely islands.
