I pledge to Give Them Space and Be Whale Wise! I will keep 1,000 yards away from the endangered Southern Resident killer whales. I will help keep whales, my boat, and the humans aboard safe by following all Be Whale Wise guidelines.

I pledge to anchor out of eelgrass to protect critical habitat for crab, salmon, and many other species that depend on it. I will anchor in water deeper than 25 feet at low tide.

I pledge to keep my boat in good working condition and clean up even the smallest of oil spills. No matter how small the spill, I will call 1-800-OILS-911 if I spill oil or fuel at the dock, and/or if I see a sheen of oil on the water.
