Give to the San Juans and orcas today. All gifts made by Dec. 31 will be matched!

What do you see?

This image contains a hidden a future. The fine grains of sand on this beach can sustain thousands of forage fish eggs – these eggs will become the small fish that sustain the Chinook salmon, that sustain the endangered Southern Resident orcas.

It’s your donation that will ensure that the future includes orca, salmon, forage fish, and natural beaches. We think that’s a future worth fighting for but we can’t do it without you.

For forty years, Friends has been protecting beaches like the one shown here, by working with property owners, cultivating youth and community stewardship, and restoration projects with partners.

Thank you so much for your support!

I want the beach to be able to be here for my grandchildren… for my nieces, nephews, and godchildren. That’s when we made the decision to contact Friends of the San Juans.
