Shoreline Species & Habitats

To promote marine ecosystem recovery, FRIENDS has focused its research, education, protection and restoration efforts on the following key marine species and habitats: forage fish (surf smelt, Pacific Sand lance, and Pacific herring), eelgrass, bull kelp, and salmon.
